CB
Sullivan, Incorporated has been a significant contributor to the Manchester
Police Athletic League since our inception in 1992. CB Sullivan, along
with Bruins great and current NESN announcer, Rick Middleton, began
a charity golf tournament 16 years ago. This golf tournament, which
will be held on July 22, 2008, Concord CC, is our single most revenue
producing event. We are thankful to CB, Rick, Helen Emond and Ken
Feldman for thier continued support. Without them, MPAL would not
have survived the early years! To date, this tournament has raised
over $350,000! |
| Our
friends at UPS are not oly the best business in the delivery world,
but are the best in thier support of local non-profits, like ours.
Most recently, we were awarded a $25,000 grant to update our aging
heating system. The money is great to have, but the friendship formed
with UPS has been even greater. They have already completed several
community service days at the MPAL/Ofc. Michael Briggs Community Center,
which directly impacts all of the participants. We are happy to have
friends at UPS and hope to continue our partnership for many years
to come. Thanks to Rich, Amy and the rest of the gang at UPS.

MPAL
has been the host of two Comcast Cares Day. Both events had well over
60 Comcast employees in attendance. The employees took time out of
thier busy lives and helped MPAL by painting, cleaning and landscaping.
They also donated $5,000 for the sign on the exterior of the PAL Center.
The sign allowed us to officially rename the MPAL Center after Officer
Michael Briggs, who was killed in the line of duty in October of 2006.
Comcast showed thier support, but did not want any recognition. However,
we feel recognition is well deserved. |
| The
Manchester Kiwanis Club awarded MPAL a 5 year, $75,000 grant, which
included program money and allowed MPAL to purchase the current PAL
vehicle. All of the Kiwanis money has been used exclusiely for programming
and without it, we may not have survived the first four years in our
facility. They also donated $1,000 for the benefit and honor of Officer
Michael Briggs, which was used for the sign on our facility. |

The

a tremendous supporter of our golf tournament. Go Monarchs!~ |
| Bob
Werner, the owner of Werner Auto Group, is a very big supporter MPAL,
and the police department too! Bob is always there when something
is needed and he never hesitates to offer his services. Bob donated
an automobile, which raised over $100,000 for the Officer Briggs Memorial
Fund, in November of 2006. |

Strange
Brew Tavern has been supporting MPAL since Mitch opened his doors
nine years ago. We cannot put a price tag or a dollar amount on what
he has given MPAL. Mitch is always there when he is needed. All we
can say is THANK YOU MITCH for always being there when we need you!
He exemplifies what the Manchester business community is all about. |
| Walmart
